Building Dreams at Pinkhouse

Branding

A comfortable safe space in the middle of a bustling city, Pinkhouse is a multifunctional rental place designed for young creative professionals who want to work on their craft, build connections, and collaborate with like-minded individuals and groups.

  • Vision

When Minky and Katrise came to us they had two things: an old pink house they just bought and the dream of setting it up as a creative space. Their energy and passion about a place that caters to creative thinkers and communities was so fun to hear, alongside the idea of doubling it as a showroom for architect-stylist Minky.

The challenge was that Minky and Katrise first needed to identify and choose what they wanted to focus on, who they wanted to reach, and how they were going to do all of it. After all, like anything in life, nobody could be everything for everyone, even when one did offer a lot of services.

  • Solution

After a number of guided meetings with the Pinkhouse team, we narrowed down their primary target audience (Creative Professionals) and services (Studio & Spaces), and built the brand identity around those two main components.

The overall creative direction from visuals to tone of voice is for Pinkhouse to be that friend who can help any creative be the best version of themselves, that friend who can be there in both the fun and in the hustle.

We translated that idea into the brand identity with the use of varying font styles in the same header for some dynamic typography, while keeping the color palette and design minimal, clean, and professional.
