Vision
The author came to me with her manuscript and wanted to bring her story to life in very lush and colorful illustrations. She had a particular style in mind and it was out of my skill set, but I knew exactly what she wanted to create. Her trust in me and my creative direction was enough for us to push through with the project.

Solution
Collaboration.
Thankfully, my friend Maggie Yoingco, an artist, was excited to get on board with illustrating this children’s book. We walked through the creative direction together so that the visuals brought the story forward.
After months of creative back and forth with illustrations and book design, all of us were happy with the final output and off to the printer it went!
